Taken from original Plein Air water color painting here greatly enhanced colors 15% from actual painting which while done in searing bright sunlight is in pastel colors.I was escaping from cell phone radiation since I am EHS, and made the most of my time by completing this painting, which was once an ancient summer hunting camp of the Ute Indians Bear Clan, located in the beginning of Disappointment Valley northeast of Dove Creek Colorado by about 45 miles. Painting is on heavy watercolor paper. The painting is framed, with glass front, plain brown wooden frame, preservation backing, with hanger wire.
I have been a watercolor landscape painter doing mainly plein air for over 45 years in Colorado. Also during half of that time my husband and I raised our four children , and my younger brother and sister on a ranch up Gypsum Creek Colorado. There we also had a big organic garden, and milked goats, and raised chickens. I was active in my local arts council during those years, and participated in local art shows. Now I live in Naturita Colorado, and have put to use my appreciation of landscapes with the use of my digital camera. Also I still do Plein Air watercolor paintings, as well as paint acrylic paintings of this amazing area of the Four Corners.
