Driving on Denver's one way 8th Avenue west one barely notices this awsome mansion to one's right just before Cheesman Park. This amazeing Victorian Moorish influenced stone mansion also includes the arched orante doorway inclued inn my group Artistic Entryways...This monument to elegance and privacy in the hub-bub of city life was possibly built by gold miineing money from the 1800's,since the now iron grilled side door was for carriages to pull up to once.
About Annie Gibbons
I have been a watercolor landscape painter doing mainly plein air for over 45 years in Colorado. Also during half of that time my husband and I raised our four children , and my younger brother and sister on a ranch up Gypsum Creek Colorado. There we also had a big organic garden, and milked goats, and raised chickens. I was active in my local arts council during those years, and participated in local art shows. Now I live in Naturita Colorado,and have put to use my appreciation of landscapes with the use of my digital camera. Also I still do Plein Air watercolor paintings, as well as paint acrylic paintings of this amazing area of the Four Corners.
