Artist's Description

The Colorado River is damned at Parker Arizona, which creates Lake Havasu at Lake Havasu City Arizona on the norht east side and California on the south west side of the river. It is a wonderful recreational area and also lends visual appeal to the city named after it.

About Annie Gibbons

Annie Gibbons

I have been a watercolor landscape painter doing mainly plein air for over 45 years in Colorado. Also during half of that time my husband and I raised our four children , and my younger brother and sister on a ranch up Gypsum Creek Colorado. There we also had a big organic garden, and milked goats, and raised chickens. I was active in my local arts council during those years, and participated in local art shows. Now I live in Naturita Colorado, and have put to use my appreciation of landscapes with the use of my digital camera. Also I still do Plein Air watercolor paintings, as well as paint acrylic paintings of this amazing area of the Four Corners.
