Magee worked at Natural Grocery, for 30 years in all it's earlier incarnations and names and locations. She was retired when newer folks were wanted. Here She shows the virtures that make ageing sucessful, patcience, acceptance, contemplation, and adaptability. She was always one of the most hepfull persons in this business I ever met, and afterwards she began the to mentor her grandson, age 13 in Hawaii. In this photo she sat on the patio of her previous home in Glenwood Springs Co. Many people knew her and loved her. She is one of the best vegetarian cooks I ever knew as well.
About Annie Gibbons
I have been a watercolor landscape painter doing mainly plein air for over 45 years in Colorado. Also during half of that time my husband and I raised our four children , and my younger brother and sister on a ranch up Gypsum Creek Colorado. There we also had a big organic garden, and milked goats, and raised chickens. I was active in my local arts council during those years, and participated in local art shows. Now I live in Naturita Colorado,and have put to use my appreciation of landscapes with the use of my digital camera. Also I still do Plein Air watercolor paintings, as well as paint acrylic paintings of this amazing area of the Four Corners.
